Hey Mike I've  just watch Budweiser ads! Louis, Frank, Ferret and the frogs were very funny! Now Kevain and Thon haven't nothing to complain about didn' have movies with lizards anymore. Oh I'm forgeting to metion about an ad of GEICO on main MSN page.

Hey this board has 7 reviews  from Z, Bert, Mike, ... (that I just said thanks) but I don't know the others that reviewed it...??? Could you guys say something about  again, please?

Hey Helio.

I read this one too but my review got lost while the board was down. Don't remember saying anything in particular. Seemed like typical Helio to me, which is a good thing, except you used animals this time, instead of humans (or hamburgers ;)). I liked the plot. Indignant lizards fussing about their absence from Disney movies. Funny stuff.

I also mentioned the Geico lizard last time, BTW. I think that's just about the most famous lizard there is.

Anyway, good job (again), Helio.

Hey, my review did disappear, didn’t it?  Let’s see if I can remember what I said…

I know I said that you are only getting stranger, but that isn’t likely to surprise anyone.

I also suspected that the tortured writer in this piece was based on a certain Brazilian author of some renown, and that the name Kevain struck me as oddly familiar.

And I also recall asking how these lizards had never heard of Godzilla.  Seems like they would be big fans, you know?

On a language-related note, the water would be "fizzy", not "frizzy".  But abstemious is a great word, appropriately used.

Reading this again (it’s short), I would also point out that if "Male Voice #2" is actually Messy, you should go ahead and use his name as opposed to the generic alternative.

So any readers interested in a fresh, odd slice of Helio will certainly find it here.  It makes about as much sense as the rest of them -- but plenty of readers seem to like that, no?

My statements pretty much echoed everyone else's, but I mentioned the Budweiser Lizards.

Check them out on http://www.youtube.com

A search for Budweiser Lizards will give you a few.

Bert,

In your previous post you said you had to look up abstemious.
I remember this.

Helio,
I'll post on it tonight. I've already read it, but something came up and I had to leave, but I'll do it tonight.

I remember Kevain and Philistine too........

Yeah, so?  That's what makes it such a great word.

Maybe you should be more abstemious about memorizing my posts  :)

Hey fellas, thanks!

Thank you Newcomer! I'm feelling more confident, now. Your review is a type stamp of quality in SS! Like ISO 2006! Hehe!

Yeah, that's right, Abstemious is a great name for a ape character...Hmmm...a type of ape that drinks too much in a next Planet of Apes sequel.

Hey Pia!!! Are you alive kid?!! Thanks for your kind interest on my poor work, m'lady!

Helio,

I liked this one. I thought it was cute.

Didn't think it was all that strange either, maybe that just means I've read too many of your stories, I don't know.

Two best buddy lizards disappointed about their lot in life maybe? Not getting their fair share of attention and/or praise in life for what they are, lizards.....low on the totem pole of earths creatures, or am I reading too deep into this again?

Anyways, I liked it and you certainly have your own style!  8)

Bert,

In the ascertainment of an excogitation of linguistic proclivity, one might ascribe to the mentation that a phratry exists in which some encyclopedists designedly cultivate a nonplussed ambience hypothecated to befuddle the vox populi.  :P

Yeah, that's right m'lady, it is deep as it can be...like certain people around this planet that has not attention, final point!

About the last paragraph to Bert, I agree totally! Hehe! Vox populi voxvagen!

Hey, Helio. This was an interesting read. They were quite interesting characters. And the pace of the story flowed interestingly quick. I loved it all. I also love how the end returns back to the title with that the dialgoue similar to poetry. Great work, Helio.

Walt Disney and discrimination, nice opening.

scare (scarce, scary?)  I'm not getting what you are trying to say with scare.

love the lizard drying himself off with a leaf.

how do (how to?)

how come the cat can understand the lizards, but not Messy?

I found some of Messy's dialog on the nose, a rewrite will fix this.

Is the story a best seller, does Disney buy the film rights?  I like to see an ending that shows Messy is nuts, but his story about lizards as main characters successful.

Helio

You always surprise me with your ability to be completely outside the normal box. I love it. Don't stop your creativity. That is your voice for writing and writing gooder. The lizards were quite interesting and liked their bent on being left out of the disney themes. May all good lizards rise and conquer mickey!

i don't know why i like to read your shorts (maybe because they are shorts... or maybe because they are strange, not like another stories) this story about lisards and a "crazy" screenwriter "Messy" i liked much better than the story about the hamburgers. One question Helio: do you like a Rum and frizzy water?

Hello mon ami,

well, again, you took me away for a surrealistic trip. I've been quite surprised you didn't mention anything about lizards tail (something kinky)

As always, you're really have your (weird) own world. Carry on. You'll make it.

This was a very funny script. I loved the kevain and Thon, they are very funny! I thought the cat character was kind of pointless, but that's only minor. Your grammar issues are forgivable. Overall, i'd say this is my favorite script of yours. good job!

Starts off pretty interesting, but then the dialogue becomes blah.  Make the two lizards sound more different.  It quickly becomes difficult to tell them apart.

Hey Zack and Tweak, thank you two for the comments. I wrote this when I was in my days of insanity. Now I'm very health of mind. this why so long without a story to tell!

Hey Helio!!! How are you?!! :K)

I just have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed your short + amusing script about these two wannabe famous lizards!! I found it very funny, odd and "out there" and that's exactly the pick me up I needed this afternoon.

I love the way you tell a story. So sweet, innocent, random and out of the ordinary. Don't ever write any other way!!!

Great work and thanks for the smiles  ;D ;D ;D
