I didn't even hear about this movie, but it looks pretty cool.  Jim Carey in a horror movie and a serious one at that, not one of those comedy/horror, it looks really intense.

I am not sure %100 what it's about.  It looks like it's about a guy who is obsessed with the number 23 and it seems to deal with satanism and stuff.

Anyways I can't wait to see it.

Here's the trailer.

Yeah i saw that trailer and it looks awesome, aint no better than a Jim Carrey movie. It seems as though theres a Will Ferrell movie that borders the same premise, but takes it in a more comical tone. That also looks awesome, ain't no better than a Will Ferrrell movie.

I agree. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart at the end like so many other thrillers. I can't remember the last time I saw a thriller where the ending didn't just collapse in on itself. I am seriously drawing a blank. Red Dragon could be it, and that movie was four years ago. But Joel Schumacher is a good filmmaker and Carrey in a dramatic role is a thing of beauty, so I have all the confidence in the world that they can pull it off. But for the record, Stranger Than Fiction (the Will Ferrel movie Ape mentioned above) looks better, I think.

Cheers, Chism.

A horror movie with Jim Carey, I'm there.  This I think has the chances of being really cool, or a disaster.

Yep. It could go either way. At least we know we're gonna get a good performance out of Carrey, even if the script does blow.

Cheers, Chismeister.

I was reading about this movie and thought they were reaching a little bit regarding the number 23.  An example they used in how this number was found in  9/11/2001.  While adding up 9+11+2+0+0+1 does add up to 23, I felt that keeping the eleven but splitting the 2001 up to individual digits was wrong.  If this is how it's done, then 23 is everywhere.  So is twenty-four and thirteen and seventy.

Numerology works this way (sort of).  It's like a rorschach test; you'll see what you want.

Hopefully this 'problem' will be brought up in the film.  Otherwise, it'll be a painfully obvious flaw.
