The Professionals by Terry Sherwood - Thriller - The story opens with childhood criminals Ryan Clinch and Peter Diamond meeting their boss Joe Valari and his wife Claire at the Calgary airport. A bag is forgotten on the baggage belt so Clinch and Diamond both go to claim it.  Peter the more impetuous one grabs it and heads off to buy a souvenir. Outside Ryan witnesses Claire Valari, violently murdered in broad daylight by an unidentified gunman. The only warning is a voice that whispers “Stick’em up”.   Ryan is arrested and interrogated by RCMP Detective Rodney Kinder.  82 pages - html, format 8)
