lol. I was just about to make a profile (on my sister's command) then I saw this thread. lol. But yeah, it'd be a lot more fun with some Simplyscripters.

I decided not to do it cuz it asks for too much info.

Yeah I was a little unsure about all that you have to fill in but the privacy is good once you create one you have options to suit how much you want on the internet.

I had a facebook, then someone changed my password and deleted my account.  So I started a new account, and it hapenned again.  I'll eventually start a new one from a more secure computer.  Any SSers who've chatted with me to any extent are welcome to be on my facebook f-list when I get my facebook back.  To find my profile, I'm Alan Holman from Saskatoon ... but I currently don't have a profile anymore.  I'll get it back in maybe two weeks, if I get around to it.

I'm not sure about Facebook. It's real boring. Even though I know a lotta people hate Myspace, I still love it. Customizing your own page is awesome. Facebook is just an online photobook really... with myspace-like things added. And what's up with all the crap being put on now like Zombie features and stuff?! It's crazy. Myspace all the way for me... yet I do log onto my Facebook as often as my Myspace one... except for way less time.

Facebook has a problem with sending numerous spam e mails from anonymous people telling you to join.

Myspace has spam users who add you and than post links to porn in your messages.

Neither are very exciting though. Myspace needs LIVE chat rooms instead of message boards.

SS would have found a whole new audience of users with a LIVE chat room feature like Mike had on his site when SS went down a year ago.

Believe it or not, both of those are still active.  Dead, but active.

Hmmm...

I remeber that. I remember people switching names and everyone getting confused who was who.

Also remember I was the oldest one and I didn't fit in.

Oh well..   ;D

I managed to take care of that by activating a new board in a community that allows you to link a chat room right to your forum, and requires you to be a registered member in order to view/chat.

If there's enough interest in it, I'll throw the link out there.
