SimplyScripts Screenwriting Discussion Board / Getting to know you, getting to know all about you... / Greetings from sunny Costa Rica

After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members to help me create an amazing documentary of a Costa Rican call center.I have several scripts written in regards to many types of situations and have spoken to a few camera crews to help me film the project.
Still, I am always looking for inspiration and have not been personally convinced as of yet of the impact my scripts will have on the project. I have read many well written threads by very intelligent members. There are plenty of good ideas. The question is to know what direction to follow.
Best regards,
Richard

And who wouldn't want their stuff rewadded?
Am I to understand that you are filming a documentary about your workplace, Richard?
That is interesting. Is it like an "infomercial", for advertising purposes, or a dramatic project, or what?

Nice to meet you Zack.
Bert,
That is a good question. I do enough advertising to where if I try that angle, I will lose the essence of the documentary. I want the high times where the agent makes a break through and shines on the phone. I also want the tough times when someone suddenly quits or has a moment where they break down and cry from a really tough call. The call center industry is nothing like the movies portray.
I want people to see the other side of a cold call or customer service call. The time and effort put into each agent for them to handle 8 hours of calls a day. In addition, sharing a few secrets on my training and the atmosphere of my call center to hopefully raise the bar in other countries.
It will be a large project that will be ongoing. Several parts filmed over several years. The cool part is that most of my agents are young and in college. So,there will never be a shortage of young college girls that want to be on TV.
I hope that has answered your question.
Richard
