Actually, Notralone is a collective name for the immune in the post-plague world. The grafitti artist was sleep deprived though, which made him miss one letter.

I thought it was a very interesting read, well written and for me was easy to imagine the scenes.

I like it but I would think it will be even more intersting to see and witness the dawn of the virus. How it slowly it started out, what precautions they took to reduce the number of infections, the difficulties and methods the used to try and control the outbreak. I had these and many more questions at the end of the first one.

We just see the aftermath and a few flashback moments of the evacuation, what I'd prefer to see is the storm before the calm, from the citizens point of view, how their military and gov. reacted to the outbreak. But this is me just thinking out loud here.

this was written very well (not trying to repeat what someone else said) but eh "Robert neville" legend surprised me. At the end of the last movie he was able to make a cure (from his own blood) and got it to the Colony. but if they had not been able to cure everyone, then this would be a few years after the last movie, meaning the Humans would've survived, what with the scare resources they had

I agree with Silent0saint. If we had seen how it (the whole shabam end of the world etc), people would see how it came to be, which would be interesting for a flashback or an opening scene in the sequel

Thank you for your kind words. If you find any flaws, please don't hesitate to mention them. I don't get to play with Warner Bros' toys here in Poland, so this treatment is a pure exercise. That makes criticism all the more appreciated.

As for the prequel approach, I'm not sure there's a story there. It WOULD be interesting, no doubt about it, but I can't see an angle that would further the overall arc.

Showing the outbreak from the point of view of an infected could work, of course, but such a film would mostly exist to inform the original (developing our understanding of the creatures), while I believe sequels should stand on their own and have a different message each (keeping the same theme). Otherwise, what's the point?

Of course, the treatment is a bit slender for a two hour movie. If I were to write an actual script, I would surely include flashbacks to the initial outbreak, so there's that. I haven't mentioned this in the outline though, since these scenes would serve as a study of sorts, helping the audience connect with the characters, but not further the actual plot.

As a side-note: If you get a chance, I urge you to watch Omega Man. It's an earlier adaptation of the novel and its authors are credited in the 2007 version. That's where the concept of The Family came from, although I obviously gave it a different twist.

Finally, sorry for any further typos and errors I probably made in this post. As you've surely surmised by now, English is not my first language.

I thought Omega Man, and I Am Legend, and (possibly yours) was based on a book, which first started with the movie Omega man, then I Am Legend, then yours.

They're based on the novel "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson. There's also one more version, which was the very first one.  "The Last Man on Earth" starring Vincent Price.
