I have read this a week ago. It is written by Justin Marks.

Now my review, it will have spoilers so be careful.

*SPOILERS*

The story centers around Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow who is the hero of Star City. He gets framed by his friend Hackett and is sent to the supervillain prison "SuperMax".

In prison Queen makes a friendship with the villains he sent there. They make a plan to escape from Supermax, and the plan has many problems and not all of the prisoners make it out from the prison.

Supermax is filled with metahuman aka mutants. There is a guy named Tatoo who is like Red on Shawshank Redemption, ask him and he can give you what you want in exchange of something etc.

About the references of Batman's villains i can say that you never really see them. There are just some references, like the name of Joker on the prison cell, the name of E Nygma written on the prison wall.

The script was very entertaining, but i don't know why i kept feeling like it had a X-Men feeling with all those metahumans. There is no big twist in the end, and like the title says, Queen manages to escape but with some costs. I can't make a big point, the film will be more entertaining i think. The prison is like a character itself, with all those hi-tech things.

7/10

How could GA make friends with everyone there?  I figure the others would be racing to kill him.  And why would they put him in a prison with meta-humans?  Why not a standard jail?

Plot holes a'plenty.

Well, Phil they do try to kill him, but somehow Green Arrow manages to beat this guys. Then he makes a some kind  of friendship with some prisoners and they start making the plan to escape.

The Supermax, has all kind of prisoners. There are those normal like GA with no superpowers and there are Meta-humans. The reason why they put him in this prison is because they want to take all of his money. So they figure out putting him in a supermax will make sure he will not escape. Something like that.

Now i can say this is better than a Ghost Rider, or Fantastic Four film, but i don't think it could be compared with the Nolan's Batman, as some over the internet say. They're so different.

On a personal level guys, i think that some writers here at the board could pull off a script like Green Arrow, i mean it. There are some writers here like WOW. I got a story about Green Arrow that i want to write but i keep telling myself what's the point nobody would put his eyes on it. I'm sure i could try make something... Anyway...

Cheers

I just read this.  What a piece of crap!  Let's make a movie about Green Arrow, bt he'll only be in costume for about ten minutes.  The rest of the time h's in jail, but he'll get to be friends with a bunch of supervillians, and they'll help him break out.
