Bill Peloquin at Flip Book Productions sent me a link to a Picasa Web Album with 400 pics of the shoot taken by on-set photographer Julie Brown. Really great pics, I have looked through them several times.

They wrapped filming a few weeks ago and the finished product should be ready soon, if not already. I am incredibly excited. :)

A fascinating look at how much stuff, equipment and film crew can go into making a short film. I had no idea.  Should be an elabortate film when it is finished.

Plus how cool is that Jack the Pumpkin King jumper on the little girl. If I had a little daughter that's how I would encourage her to dress everyday.  

Wow. I didn't even know this was being made. I enjoyed the script. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I thought it rather fascinating myself, Glenn. I think there are varying degrees to which short films are made and I was very pleasantly surprised to see the work going into this. The producer has been great keeping me up to speed with the progress of the film. Flip Book has been great to work with too. And I have little girls, so you're saying I should buy Jack the Pumpkin King clothes for them?

Hey, thanks Julio. I posted a link earlier on the thread devoted to the script but either nobody saw it or nobody cared. Just in case it was the former I posted this one too. The script has undergone some changes from the one that is posted here, I never posted the final draft. If anyone would like to read the final draft just PM me with an email address I can send it to.

Hey, the pix were very cool especially the tech views of how it's done. Did you have any input to the script supervisor or anything like that? Or was it out of your hands at that point? Just curious.

Well we worked together on making the script something that we were all comfortable with. The final draft had a new intro scene and an extra scene in the middle. I also had to come up with an alternate scene for the "walk home" scene just in case the weather didn't cooperate. Once it was optioned, however, Flip Book had total control. It sounds like they really stuck to the script, but I guess that will be part of the excitement of seeing the finished product.
