France, not Texas. Just for a couple months.

I got an internship at Partizan Films, the production company responsible for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and the rest of Michel Gondry's films among other things (commercials, music videos, etc). I'm getting paid a little bit so I guess this would be my first real job in the film industry. This is the first time I'll have been in a foreign country for longer than two weeks since I was five and my French is marginal at best so I'm a little apprehensive but very excited at the same time. This is my biggest foot in the door since I sold "Abattoir." I think the French make amazing films. Michel Gondry's one of the most interesting and unique directors out there right now and Martyrs simply crushed any competition the horror scene had to offer. I'm looking forward to seeing how they work and being a part of it at the same time.

Leaving this Saturday. Just figured I'd share.

Be welcome here James... (just to remind you Paris is NOT France. Paris is Paris, a world apart...)  If you need anything, any help, don't hesitate...

James

That's great news, man. Partizan and Gondry make very interesting films. You're sure to learn a lot in the visual department if anything.

Best of luck.
