Hi all,

I'm a screenwriter, but this is, as the forum says, a little off-topic.

I was diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Leukaemia in early 2008 aged 33. Bit gutting really. Since then I've had some really good meds and am doing well, on a day-to-day basis you wouldn't know I have any problems. My prognosis is good thankfully.

However some aren't so lucky and when blood cancer hits kids it hits them really hard. Sir Ian Botham has been raising money for Leukaemia Research for 25 years now and on the Worcester leg of his latest walk on 12 April I will be joining him.

Now for the begging bit....I set myself a target of £1000 to raise and now need just £180 to hit that magic number. Can you help? Any amount is gratefully received and I can assure you that by donating it will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

If you can't donate just send me your best wishes - I'd appreciate that too.

Thanks for reading this far and all my best wishes,

Kris

K,

I'd like to send something. But seeing as my country is about to go down the toilet (again) I have trouble keeping meself in tabs and beer these days.

And without them I'd be doing more than shouting polemics at the dog. Thankfully he's immune these days.  I can see him thinking 'shurrup ya fecking eejit'.

But I can send you my best wishes at least. Sincerely too.

Life can be tough. Gotta get tough with it.

Best of luck to ya.
