What're your thoughts on entering SP contests? I see many that charge an entry fee. Just curious if any of you ever enter?

A number of us enter competitions.  I personally think they're worth the money.

Not too sure what a SP contest is - but script contests - each to their own. Depends on the contest - some are worth their weight, other just want the fee off you. If you're going to be read by decent people though you might have to pay. List of contests anyone? Nicholls, Blue Cat etc, all worth while.

Nicholl is the mother of all competitions in regards to significance.
Bluecat gives everyone feedback.
Shriekfest keeps you advised.
