Finally caught up to the film, hoping for a decent conspiracy thriller. I got some decent acting from two supporting acitors Ciaran Hinds and Jim Broadbent especially but alas, Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall are the two leads. They would be fine if not for a plot point that specifys thier characters had a fling in the past. During the course of the film I felt it wasn't much of an issue, but it's not what bothered me.

There were two things aboiut the ending that made me cringe. One was the last shot which included a VO of how the bad guys of the film ("if" you can call them that) are put on trial. Not a scene or visual. A voice over. It would have had more power if the filmmakers hadn't used it at all. But what bothered me was one specific scene where the currupt MI5 kills someone. If they had done that from the very start, there would have been no movie.

That's all I have to say. I got to put an icepack on my groin after this shallow film kicked me in the nuts.
