SimplyScripts Screenwriting Discussion Board / General Chat / help/advice regarding script reports

Hi guys
So I got an email the other day from a guy asking about picking up the option on one of my features, which is great and the company seem legit but he wants an independent script report before moving forward. This has me worried. The feature is the first I ever wrote and in my opinion needs work, I even started a rewrite but shelved it, and I know the script report will pick up on this. So I'm no wondering if the 'head of development' has read the entire script or not? I know I should just get the report done but I'm skint, to coin the phrase 'I've not got a pot to piss in'. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or previous experience of script reports?
Cheers
Funny how things go though, I got another email this morning from someone wanted to produce a short of mine....like London buses lol

Cheers buddy, I had big doubts anyway and after getting burned so often I always tread with caution. The script in question was posted up about 7-8 years ago. I was going to sound them out before I went anywhere near paying anything out. I'm tight with money, especially when I've got none lol. My dad always says I'm so tight I could peel an orange in my pocket...whatever that means?
