Lonely Days by Altin Kureta - Action, Adventure - John, 20 years old, is mostly in loneliness and thoughts. Due to his character he can’t find easy a girlfriend. After starting to work in a company he falls in love with a girl of his age, but the story will last just a few months. Deluded somehow decides to enters in the army, where will face later a difficult war. 106 pages - pdf, format 8)

Hanging around these boards for a few years I have seen several scripts like this. Obviously, English is the 2nd language. Even so, you would think that can be worked around. If you have a good story to tell, tell it.

The screenwritng format gets used correctly, but it seems like writers fail to copy what's out there and what works, especially loglines. There are really only a few tricks/formats within a script to use, excluding camera angles, etc.

Tell a story as the camera would see it of people interacting in linear time.

I guess in the least, the logline serves to indicate what you will find throughout the rest of the script. It's like an early-warning indicator.
