Wow, guys... thanks!!! Believe me, I'm quite excited about this one. The director - top notch and passionate about the script. It's a hardcore SF piece: think Primer meets Flatliners/White Noise. So i(IMHO) it's got a built-in audience that will really want to see it. And the FX I've already seen? Terrific!! :)

Janet,
Awesomeness!!!
You do so much for us over at STS. You deserve this and all the good karma that comes your way. I can't wait to hear more!!!

Eldave and Dave - thanks! (Nice combination of names, incidentally...) :))
Stream was a fun one to write - it started as a short, but Kevin L. positively insisted that it be expanded to feature length. And the rest... was history. A hard core SF script that I compare to Primer Meets Flatliners and White Noise, with a bit of Cocoon, it's based in a college setting. Some FX required: and very much a psalm to universal human themes.... aging, emotional isolation, the grieving process - and regret.
Fingers crossed. I've got a terrific production team in Stream's corner!!

The world definitely needs more hard sci-fi right now and while I didn't read this one, I know from your other writing that you'll give us the good stuff in this genre. Stoked! I'll review this for a paper or two when it's available :)

Holy shit! I do indeed recall reading this jaunt. Congrats, Janet!
Dig the poster. Dark and alluring. Title change seems to have some semblance of thought behind it. Even dig the font. A small thing perhaps, but with a different font, it could easily look cheap as fuck (happens all the time).
Will keep an eye out for this one.
