Not sure if anyone has mentioned this on the boards but has anyone seen the trailer for this?

I saw it a month or so ago and am still not sure if it's going to get a cinema release or even if it already has.  It is the first, so I am to believe, full P.O.V movie.  From the trailer it looks completely bonkers.  I really fancy watching this just to see if it's as entertaining as it looks.

I always keep coming back to these old posts for some reason. But I just watched this movie and it was friggin cool.

They have used the POV gimmick very creatively in the movie. Almost every scene is either hilarious or shocking. And although I thought this way of filming would make me feel dizzy after a while, it didn't. Absolutely awesome I must say.

Is there anything great in that technolog?. Seems like the potential never lifted up from the ground.

Nothing great as yet... but it's more accessible to people now and that means the developers make more money which means better things in the future. A couple of the horror titles can be good for jump scares. There's a gangster shootout episode that was pretty good to play and they're developing a longer game like that this year.

At the moment, it seems to me VR is like the old Atari days. 30 years from now it'll be a whole new level of experience.
