I submitted to the last one, we'll see what happens.
Still nothing on the 3 queries I answered last month.

Yep, afraid not hearing back on your submissions is par for the course with these things (there are some exceptions of course)... I usually chase people up after 3 or 4 weeks, that sometimes pays dividends.

Not even looking at their emails doesn't help either. Go to all the trouble of catering a pitch and they don't even open the email.

If you take a closer look at these reddit posts, most of them aren't really worth submitting to anyway. ISA had some good opportunities a while ago, but lately there's almost nothing interesting there either. Only no name screenwriters looking for writing partners or someone to write a script according to their outline. Free of charge of course.

Feel free to chip in with any leads you find Equinox.

As always - thanks for the posting Anthony. Always appreciated.
I am doing kind of a test on one - wants a feature script that fits a couple of mine in general parameters but - like in many cases - The requester provides no information on their background (e.g., have they produced a film before, are they associated with a company, ? etc. etc.). I politely ask for this info - I'll see if I'm told to bugger off or if there is a helpful response.

Sorry Dave - missed this, but answered in the other thread... saw you'd submitted something, good luck with it.

Hi Anthony,
Just got a script request from this lead I applied for!
Hopefully Pia and me hear what they think of our script soon. :)

I got a request from the same lead today as well.
I wouldn't get too excited. You rarely hear back from these kinds of things. Don't hope for anything and get surprised :)
I did look up the company. It's a small Arizona based company that has never done a feature before. These kinds of things from my limited experience rarely work out. These companies want to do something but just can't managed the challenges that a quality feature production brings. and this enthusism about wanting to make a feature and finding the right script usually leads to nothing :(
Still, let's hope for the best. Good luck.
