Not really my genre but the cinematography, acting and unpredictability of story, combined with me not expecting much, and guess what... memorable.

Gory and with a sense of Tarantino. Explores lawlessness, adultry, rape, and sodomy without nudity.

Acting was genuine for the most part. Clint Eastwood's daughter wasn't half bad either.

Worth a viewing if in the gloomy mood.

As intended, no doubt.

I went in wanting to like it.

About 20 minutes in, it was obvious that this movie had no structure and wasn't well thought out. I don't like how people compare everything to Tarantino these days. But this kind did feel like it was trying to emulate Tarantino, both in setup and in the way things were playing out.

It wasn't paced well. The turn in the end was obvious, you were just waiting for it to happen. The whole movie felt forced to me and it didn't flow.
