I was wondering how you add an image to a thread post? Does anyone know? For the life of me, I can't figure it out. I assume it has something to do with the image button in the format message section. A detailed description would be greatly appreciated.

I have some behind the scenes photos I'd like to share from a few of my shorts.

I guess the bigger question is, are we allowed to do it?

Thanks in advance.

Warren, I think you use this:[img]     [/img] either side of whatever the image link is.

Mind you I had trouble sharing a video the other day. Used to do it all the time and went completely blank. Irish (Mark) was kind enough to post it for me. There's absolutely no problem SS wise posting images. There's even a thread somewhere where members have posted pics of themselves. Movie posters created by members, still shots of filming, youtube clips, you name it. There's no rule against it, that I know of based on prev experience. :)

Images are allowed, unless inappropriate of course.

You cannot post pics directly into the thread however. You need to have the image hosted somewhere else, like photobucket, and then just paste the image link in the thread.  :)

So long as they are posted on line somewhere then you simply cut n paste the link between the IMG tags [img]insert link to image here[/img]
