Hi,

The Great Purge
If you have gotten an email from me entitled "From SimplyScripts.Com about your Screenplay" stating that I'm going to delete your screenplay.  Don't worry. The screenplays being deleted are those that were submitted to the site over ten years ago and/or not formatted to industry standards.  This would be the time to take another look at it and clean up the formatting.  No rush, I won't start deleting until Christmas. And, I'll help you find them.

Why The Great Purge?
I have a lot of outdated email addresses. Writer's can't be contacted about work.  I found several instances of work being used without permission because the email bounced.

and

A long time ago, someone wrote, "SimplyScripts, a lot of dross there." I am trying to raise the bar a little so the chances of a producer finding a good script increases as well as still being able to help the new writer.

Short Script Review Anyone?
If you have a good short script and want some front page exposure, please consider submitting to: http://simplyscripts.com/submit-your-script-for-review.html

All sounds good.

Don, just a btw, that'd be 'Curtain' re upcoming Oct, I presume. With 'duct tape'? Instantly conjures Hitchcock. Still what do I know?

Neil Peart!  Not, Neil Pert.

Yes, I love him as well and long for those days of old when RUSH simply kicked all the butts in the Universe.

Yep, Rush has come a long way from "Anthem" and "Working Man."

An Update on the Great Purge:

Approximately 1,500 scripts have been purged from the discussion board and the blog site.

Most were purged because I no longer had contact information for the writer, or have been on the discussion board for over ten years with no comment or the link to the script was broken.  I still have the scripts and anyone whose script discussion thread was deleted and wishes to resubmit, please let me know and I will forward it to you if you wish to resubmit it after the OWC concludes.

Lol, should have killed those puppies a long time ago. Good job. I have quite a few stories that need to find a black hole.
