I am not familiar with the source material here, but found the trailers and word of mouth to be quite compelling.

The movie is slow.  The setup is odd.  The structure is very odd.  So much is held back or just literally shown incorrectly to keep the viewer guessing, or to just literally not allow the viewer to figure out what really happened until the very end, which is rather poorly done, IMO.

The acting is good and Emily Blunt plays a troubled chick quite convincingly.

Bottom line, though, is that this really isn't a very good movie, nor is it a very entertaining watch.  Replay value is extremely low.

Well that's very disappointing, I was really looking forward to it.

I hated the movie through the first 20 minutes. But I loved the different structure. I liked the way they threw in bits and pieces to keep you thinking. I love that I could not figure out what really happened until the end.  And in the end...I enjoyed the film. I will admit that the trailers make it look much better than it was.
