Hello, one and all. First, I'm very happy to have been accepted into the group. My background is varied. I developed an interest in photography at age 12 which lead me to the discovery of a passion for filmmaking and video. I have been writing short stories for many years. My love of theater includes writing stage plays and, more recently, screenplays. I'm working on several screenplay projects at the moment - the most challenging is a drama about the experiences of a WW II veteran. I enjoy family friendly "Hallmark Channel" kinds of films - wholesome messages of hope and belief in the basic goodness of man - and I have several projects underway in that arena. At this point in my life, I'm not expecting to be produced in any big way - if I can write well and make my own little movies I shall be satisfied and content. It is the pursuit of excellence that brought me to this group. If I am to achieve any notable degree of excellence I need the kind of input that this group can offer. And I appreciate the opportunity to learn from you. Thanks again  and I look forward to getting to know many of you and your works.

Welcome to Simplyscripts! Glad to have you. :) The best way to learn is to read and write.

Welcome! Most people don't know that there is serious business in writing for Hallmark and Lifetime. SO, good on you.
