I don't like the fact you didn't give them any names. I felt no connection to them.
Side Note - if you're not going to give them names at least make it BASSIST. all i could think about was a talking fish.

"All He's got over us is his fear" - Shouldn't it be "our fear" But even that doesn't really make sense.

I could see this being used on a Law and Order type show.
