Yeah...went to an Advanced Screening last night.

ummm....idk how I feel about it yet. I went with my fiend and we were both so confused the entire time...as well as everyone in the theatre with us.

It was like no one could figure out if this was pure high octane genius or just pure octane ridiculousness.

The acting was what you would expect from the cast Charlize Theron was perfect, like unbelievably perfect the whole time.

James McAvoy was wonderful with some great comedic timing.

But still....so confused. A lot of weird plot twists with no real payoff or explanation.

The fight scenes were some of the most realistic I've ever seen before in a film.

The bisex was fan service. It was.

One cool note is this takes place during the 80's a week or so before the Berlin wall comes down and a lot of the action centers around the protest and that event.

You guys go see it and let me know hoe you feel.

As a HUGE John Wick fan, I'm hoping it's not just a cheap knock-off. Regardless, I'll see it opening weekend!

It was a bad movie that delivered on the action. But if John Wick was a B movie getting A movie treatment, this was an honest-to-goodness B movie. The dialogue's bad, the plot's incoherent, the pacing is off. The director knew how to make things look cool in individual shots and scenes, but didn't appear to have a clear overarching vision.

This'll be one primarily for the action junkies, is my guess, even more than John Wick. There's not as much action as John Wick, but it's neat and new and cool.

Great soundtrack, too.

I was reading the reviews because it was getting a solid 7 throughout which I thought was insane and apparently this was supposed to be some sort of dark comedy parody of these kinds of movies.

Just Fanservice to me. IDK
