What a pleasant surprise!

I've always liked Halle Berry and even like most of her films, including 2013's "The Call".  I had low expectations here, but just felt like seeing a flick today, so gave it a chance.

This was actually filmed back in 2014, and was supposed to be released in October of 2015.  It was pushed back 5 times, which ain't a positive, but I found out the reason for those push backs was that the Production company went Bankrupt.  Little to no advertising is also never a good sign, and RT has this sitting at 36%, but 56% of moviegoers actually liked it.

Well, I definitely liked it.  It's not what you think, it is different, it is exciting, well shot, well acted, and just overall well put together, with a budget of over $20 Million.

It's one of those movies where based on the premise, you don't expect much, but it's also one of those movies that's just done well, with believable dialogue and situations, as well as realistic actions and reactions from the characters - and that's something we rarely see in movies.

It's a short movie, but the runtime works here, as the majority of this movie is intense chase scenes.

The finale is strong and exciting, but also left a little to be desired, as in, it could have been a bit better and more intense, but the choices the writer and Producer went for did work, I would have liked a little more.

There's also 1 very BIG flaw in the finale and it's even pointed out on IMDB, and for the life of me, I can't understand why it was overlooked, as this is something I was referring to above, in that I wish the finale was a little stronger, and this "element" was completely overlooked, forgotten, cut out, who knows.

Hey listen, if you like Halle, like intense, well put together escape your real life flicks,a nd have an hour and a half to kill, check this out before it leaves the big screen. I think you'll be happy you did.

This was definitely a pleasant surprise. Tight thriller with some fun, unexpected moments. I agree that the finale wasn't quite there, but this is still worth the ticket.

I didn't think this was as good as The Call, but I really liked that one.

This was a pretty straight forward, fast-paced movie that didn't stop.

Not my cup of tea, but I can see why some people would like it.
