Years ago, I created a short story series called "The Power of the Three Witches". Three women of different ages and sexual orientations, learn to clash despite prejudice, especially to help women and children to prevail against stupid men, demons and a patriarchal system. Sometimes it's not about the idea it's about the execution.

If you feel the story is too similar, make it new and fresh.

Make sure you finish it and submit for feedback.
The process alone will make you a better writer.

I am currently working on a German screenplay version of my short story series, which I am revising. Do you think it would be something new, because it does not need three sisters, but all women have different ages? And different sexual orientations (heterosexual, lesbian, transsexual), and everything has a feminist content?
This work of mine will be just as bad as anything I work on. I will not publish it here because my English is not sufficient for a US version.
