Sophie the Gelded Space Stallion (432 pages in pdf format) by Don Boose

Born in the high cliffs of the mountains of Kansas, Sophie, our equine hero, is kidnapped by an ancient race of aliens from Xadu. Sophie escapes in her quest to save the universe and if not the universe, perhaps his Mother.

Look for it in theaters near you, April 2019.

This is more of a pre-vis teaser trailer.  There is a lot of placeholder footage and placeholder dialogue and placeholder music, but this pre-vis teaser trailer occupies the same space as the official teaser trailer would occupy if it were done.

About the writer: Don Boose has been spinning tales of space opera gold since 1999. He doesn't believe in second drafts. The words come from somewhere in space, fully formed and go into his head and through his fingers on to the written page. He is not available for re-writes.

Sophie the stallion huh. 432 pages, no rewrites. Should be extraordinary. The only thing that bothers me is if Sophie is the horse or you refer to ship as stallions. Then again, it would have been Sophie, the ship stallion.

It is April 1st.

I've never seen a script by Don, if it's ever going to happen, today might be the day.

Sophie is the hero the world needs but does not deserve.

Awesome. The trailer has me hooked without giving away anything about the story, which is a welcome change.

I'll be bringing my favourite blanket and the necessary provisions to a theatre near me come April 2019 for a 7 hour, 12 minute epic of equine-based escapades.

It was good to finally see something from you, Don.  Looks like a blast.

That's the best script I've never read.

Wow. Simply stunning. Late to the party but just read this.

Unusual formatting (kind of questionable maybe - but mavericks often are). Don't be put off by the 432 pages. The line spacing is wild.

But I guess that's part of the ride.
