This has the potential to be awesome, not just another video game adaption.  It's a really authentic sci-fi franchise with a very rich mythology.

I hope they focus on events around the first game.

But please... don't focus on Masterchief. That was good for the game.

He should be in a peripheral charecter. HALO 4: Forward unto Dawn did that well.

I never played a single Halo game. Became a fan through over media (I thought Hali legends was brilliant). Master chief was not really a focus. So I don’t really have that thing of John 117 being an icon.

Sorry, but the time for a Halo movie/series has long passed. Are people actually interested in this? I'm not, and I consider myself a pretty big fan of the original trilogy of games.
