Virtual script fest

I've read some very good things but also some bad.

Looking for opinions

Thanks

Do you mean Virtual Pitch Fest?

I don't recommend.

They market a guaranteed response. However, that response is boilerplate and it doesn't meant that anyone really read your pitch. . i.e., they merely have to click on something like:

"Thanks for your submittal. But this doesn't fit our interests at this time."

My experience was negative. I got the exact word for word response from 6 companies. Doesn't mean you will. But I won't be experimenting again.

My experience wasn't quite as negative as Dave's.

He's spot on re boilerplate responses and I had a few.

But I also got two read requests, and one follow up to read something else.

Didn't ultimately go any further but that's hardly unusual ;-(

I've used them before, did end up getting a couple of reads both from sending the pitches and from placing on the top lists. Nothing has come of that, though. I'd consider using them again but right now I'm trying to avoid spending money for reads.
