SimplyScripts Screenwriting Discussion Board / Screenwriting Class / Capitalization of locations

I've been unable to find a reference for this... underground mine with a "Main Room" and three tunnels leading out of it. Each tunnel leads to a different room. One tunnel leads to the Gallery, one leads to the Office, and one leads to eight small private rooms. I have action going from these Scene Headings: MAIN ROOM, PRIVATE ROOM TUNNEL, PRIVATE ROOM.
My question: In my description of the action in the tunnel, should I use private room tunnel or (capitalized) Private Room Tunnel?
Thanks very much,
Pete

If you're in the tunnel then it says that in the heading, there is no need to repeat that information in the action.

I wasn't totally clear. Before I get to the tunnel, I introduce it in some description. I am asking if I capitalize the location in the description before I get to that location.

I would not

If it's not a proper noun then you wouldn't capitalize. You would capitalize the Holland Tunnel, because it is a proper noun. But if it's just a common, ordinary tunnel, then you might say in an action sequence: "Joe wanders the tunnel leading to the private room." No capitalization needed.
