Does anyone know what happened to the member rendevous? He used to be very active here and read a lot. I noticed that he hasn't posted in two and a half years and his website is pretty much dead.

He had his own specific style and was a bit odd, but I thought he brought something to the board. I wrote him a PM more than a month back to see if he's Okay. I got nothing back.

Does anyone have any news? He was a good dude, I talked to him via PMs a few times.

One of my favourite writers.

I was in contact recently. He's fine last I checked.
Waiting on the muse, I expect. :)

I certainly remember Rendevous!

He probably needed a break!

We look forward to more of the good company.

Unfortunately, there are a few people like that who kind of faded away: Rendevous, RayW, Screenrider (although I know he wasn't the most popular when he was around). I like to think that, whatever happened, they moved on to bigger and better things.

I miss baltis. He was awesome, in all his "goat nuts" glory.

Yeah, and I remember he was good, too. And really smart I thought.  :)

FYI, scripts are still up for the writers on SS, so you could always try to make contact that way. I can't guarantee they're still valid but worth a try.

Thank you, Libby.

There was this script I was helping to critique back in the day. I think the author was fairly young. I had seen a lot in that script. It was called The Big Fade, by Steve Mandolla.

I just dug it up now and found it on my computer.

It will be interesting to look at it again now. And some of my old notes on it.

You're most welcome, Sandra!

The ScriptSearch at the top of the discussion board is very handy.

If the author's name doesn't give results often their board name will.
