Hi ALL

What classifies as a SHORT script, what is the rule of thumb to the max amount of pagers before it becomes a future ? I've written a script that's 61 pagers, I can stretch to about 90 and or cut it down to about 45

?

It's entirely arbitary, but in Festivals over 60 minutes is usually a feature and less is a short.

Shorts at 30, 40 and 50 minutes are fairly rare and the longer it gets, the rarer they are. You can put ten 3 minute shorts in a festival for every one 30 minute short, so the 30 minute needs to be categorically better than all those shorter films combined to be worth showing.

Better to expand it to a feature imo.

Scar Tissue.

Thanks for advise.

Interesting point of breaking it down to a festival. Did not know of such, and will study it.
