Love typing those two words. Just finished a comedy feature - well, the first draft anyway - got to do a cleanup run at it. But it is always a good feeling.

That's awesome, Dave. Big congrats. Now, put it in a drawer and start up something new to kick ass on. =)

It's a high like no other!

I'd love to read what you've done next. Feel free to send it my way if you'd like notes!

I’m up for a read too, Dave.   Looks like a few of us have nailed a feature recently lol

I will hit you both up when I'm ready to post. Of course if you have anything for me to read I'd be more than happy

High five, bro! I just wrapped a 1st draft of a feature today myself... though I ended it with a CUT TO BLACK rather than FADE OUT. I won't be posting it on here -- it's for a director. But I'll definitely be checking out your new script once you get it posted on here. I can always depend on you for a nice, well-written, easy-to-read script to check out. Cheers!

The director will definitely like it, Michael.

Good luck.

Congratulations! I did that last week and moved onto other things for a bit before I start the re-write. It is such a good feeling.

Great thread, Dave, and congrats. And nice work, everyone!

My writing partner and I finally sent out the pitch deck for a series we've been working on for the last while. Not as exciting as a FADE OUT, but still, feels good.

Good job, Dave!  Great to hear.

I, too, am looking forward to reading.

I have 2 other just completed features I need to read this week for 2 SSers who completed very long writing processes.

Damn...why don't I write anymore?  ARGH!!

Good job all you hard workers. I ran into a brick wall at some point with all this crap going on. Ridiculous amounts of free time, zero writing for about a month. You've motivated me to get my lazy ass back in gear.

Dave and Michael, you still looking for notes on Honey Mustard and Step Seven or do you have enough feedback there?

You can check it out if you want but extensive notes aren't really necessary. I also have a script up called, "They Never Left" up.

Now get your ass in gear so I can read something!

109 pages in 12 days. I have this feeling that I really don't want to write anything ever again.

I'm sure it'll wear off in a week or two. Still.

It's been a marathon of pain. Worth it though. :)
