Just got my letter!!!! My feature WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR is a quarter-finalist. 5,526 entries. 359 advanced. I made the cut.

I'm just so pumped, and wanted to celebrate with people who understand how cool this is!!!

The next cut is down to 140 or so. So, that's a big one. Gives me a couple of weeks to dream of scenarios until the axeman cometh.

And, yes, the script is still up on SimplyScripts. I think the reason it advanced is because it's unique. There's no way there's another script like it in the pile. That's what I keep telling myself anyway!


Did anybody else on here advance? I haven't seen a full list.

BIG congratulations!!! I knew someone who won one year. She was one of the originals when MP first started. It was a HUGE deal to win, or I guess become a fellow.  Keeping my fingers crossed for you!  8)

It sure is, but do not let this ake anything away from such an amazing achievement. Nicolls is the only screenwriting competition you can mention the QF stages on your writing bio and in query letters, it's that well known and respected in the industry.
