This script reminds me of the Italian crime films (Poliziotteschi) of the seventies. My only complaint is that it does not live up to the spirit of the genre which was largely characterized by fast-paced action, brutal violence, and graphic sex. I would push for a rewrite of the Carmella and Luciano entanglement—embolden Luciano prizes, Carmella; she resists his desires at first but surrenders to his charisma and sexual violence. The betrayal and its later discovery set off the murderous slaughter that unfolds in the script. Punch up the dialog, and you've got a Black List script! That's my two scents—
