A little confusion to start out:  the heading states written by Simon Parker, however the script states written by Frank Hansen -?  Don?  Whomever the writer was, is apparently versed in professional writing. Very compelling story, very well written. I like this one a lot. Can’t classify it as “horror” but definitely a formidable ghost story. Good job writer (whoever you are!)

Hi KCranford,

There was a link mix-up between Simon's script and my script (revised version). Both scripts, same title ("Imaginary friend"), in the same thread, Short Drama. All good. Thanks, Don.

Thanks for reading my script. Glad you liked it.

Hey Frank, or Simon.

I've read the script, great work, even though I'm a little messed up about the author, but forget that. For 6 pages, you've taken the genre everyone would have thought to be a full experience of jump-scares and cliched storylines, and turning it into a emotional, dramatic and emotional story of patriachy within marriage. Seems like marriage gets rocky all the time where the patriachy exists within layers of walls, the term of yours, "Imaginary Friend", strikes me hard, like a .45 ACP shot to the heart, as I descends into Beth's sadness and her desperate need of a friend, Ghost, the protagonist, somehow didn't strike me as a disturbance and nuisance to the readers, Ghost, to me, represents the kind of person who would open their ears and listen to you, in this term, it's called, A GOOD FRIEND, Ghost didn't ask for it, he confide with Beth willingly, and it makes me wonder about the real meaning OF FRIENDSHIP.

What do I think about this ? I think you did a great job within 6 pages, I like your dialogue, catchy, smart, natural, doesn't feel phony, sort of like a Aaron Sorkin or Quentin Tarantino lines, casual, natural and realistic. The theme captures my attention well, and I think it's meaningful and emotional, sort of like a Lost In Translation style, I will not call this a horror, I'd called this a family and drama, but it could be better if it's longer, like 15 pages or so, but who cares, it's about quality, not quantity.

I give this a 4 out of 5 stars, good job Simon ( or Frank), keep pushing
