It has no middle or end, nor does it have the main character.

Sounds exactly like the last few Terrence Malick movies I watched. I won't be doing that again. Bloody Uwe Boll with great cinematography.

But, still, The Tree of Life was pretty damn good, overall...

Have finished mine on iPad app Blondie and will email to Don. I will be away from wifi for a couple of days after scripts are posted but promise I will catch up and read all entries. Look forward to some good variety!

Sean, don't know if I'm in or out yet. Creative thinking has been taking a back seat to proper 'work' unfortunately. I'm a 'maybe' if I can get my act together within 24 hours. Will still read some either way.

Kham: I'd love to read a 'beautiful' story - those are usually few and far between in OWCs - plus you've intrigued me so I hope you get it together.

Also: Don, where is the countdown clock?   It appears to have gone AWOL again...

P.S. Speaking of beautiful - Tree Of Life was, very, but it also put me to sleep.

I'm two days behind schedule. My son's dog, Murphy have been violently sick so we had to take him to the vet and he stayed at the hospital. Murphy is back home today, but their apartment needs sanitation.

Finishing up tonight. I have like 2-4 more pages left to write. OWC and finals week just about done.

I would love feedback on any of these!

Ooh, dear. Was he poisoned or bitten by something nasty, or what...? Good to hear he's going to be alright.

Kool aid guy!

Just submitted. I think it's on the shorter side of the limit, i couldn't think of anything else to add.

Hopefully we can start reading the entries shortly after the deadline.

Was it? I liked the bit with the dinosaurs. Yes, a film about a family in present day America has dinosaurs in it, and not Jeff Goldblum. Or Sam Neill.

I love the Thin Red Line and Badlands, but his new stuff seems all shine and no story. I won't be watching anything by him again. He's on my shitlist alongside Lars von Trier.

I'm sure this irks them no end and keeps them up at night.

I’ve not been able to come up with anything so I’m out. Gutted as I love doing these. I’ll keep an eye out for the entries and I’ll try to review some.

The only idea I had was I wanted to incorporate the brilliantly fun game ‘Cards Against Humanity’ into an actual spin were the cards were indeed against humanity but that’s as far as I got.

Couldn't get a good enough script together to enter.

Had three reasonable ideas but couldn't get any of them to work on the page to an acceptable standard. Tough theme. It was hard to avoid the "playing the game to survive trope whilst still coming up with something dramatic.

Be interested to see what others managed to achieve.
