Thought that one actually had a lot of potential with a good rewrite.

I might be out for this OWC. It's really bad timing. I have all this stuff including a feature that I'm trying to get done and finally send out into the void and not have it stressing me out anymore. But I swore I'd never miss an OWC, so we'll see.

That rug really tied the room together.

Yeah, that was one I had rolling around for a long time. Then, I had to come up with other ones to start off the year and they haven't done as well. This year's is going to be a bit different...

Sweet!  maybe Stevie will even enter this time.

My recommendation - an imp in a wheelchair and a gnat in his hair in 1 room with no furniture or ceiling and no more than 5 different words of dialogue throughout.

You know, Jeff, that vaguely reminds me of the 2010 October OWC. That one was great and as ridiculous as can be. What was it, a house, wheelchair, two guys, one girl, fire (I think) or a storm, something like that. Sounds like a certain somebody's fetish video... Lol.

Two of the scripts from that OWC were optioned.  At least one was filmed...

And one that wasn't optioned, filmed, or even liked, was an instant pisser classic.

For those that missed it and want a laugh that won't stop, it was called...

Yep that was the best one in my time here. top notch. I always say more stricter and varied requirements within the theme make for a better challenge and writing.

Whatcha talking about? Am I having a blonde moment again? Ha, just noticed my pun.
Please explain? (as Pauline Hanson would say). Only Stevie will get that reference btw.

Of course you will!!! You can't stay away.

Maybe we should try to get an old fashioned Skype party while we wait? We haven't done one of those in a loooong time.

You know, truthfully, I'd love to meet some of my fellow writers on skype.  I've never skyped in my life, but, for you guys, I'd be willing to try.

Just someone would have to show me how...

Dan

Please read my scripts:

I'm interested in reading animation, horror, sci fy, suspense, fantasy, and anything that is good.  I enjoy writing the same.  Looking to team with anyone!

It's simple.  Just download the free software and then wait for your buddies to give you their names and you connect, talk, Skype.  Easy!!!

Does Skype work with a Mac?  Like I said, I'm quite behind the times...

I soooo wish I was young again so that being on a computer would feel normal...

Pssh... Don't sweat it, Dan. Odds are, I'm a good bit younger than you and I don't know how to work Skype, either. Or a lot of other things that aren't par for my age group. Lol.

I know how to use Skype but I don't like using it. It breaks up a lot, I end up looking at my own image a lot more than I look at the image of who I'm talking to and most importantly, people soon discover I'm a bot. It never ends well.
