The Features are up. There were seven scripts submitted. Note: 1. Some folks didn't submit the first 11 pages. That is OK. I apologize if I didn't make it clear that even if you didn't submit the first 11 pages, you could still participate. 2. When folks submitted the first 11 pages, I added the link to that. Note, some folks changed the title of their work and some went in a completely different direction from the original first 11. That, too, is ok. The Wish Cow by Mark Moore (irish eyes) - Comedy - A father tries to make amends for his daughter's disastrous birthday, by buying her a smartphone from an old Chinese antique store... only he takes home the wrong phone. 90 pages - pdf, format Bad Connection by Stephen Wells (SteveUK) - Thriller - A down on her luck waitress has her life thrown into danger when she unwittingly buys a stolen cell phone, and its murderous original owner comes looking for his property. 84 pages - pdf, format A Written Descent by James Fisher (jamesthejudged) - Thriller - A struggling writer gets inspiration from pictures of grisly murders he finds on a recently purchased cell phone, and is haunted by an unknown killer that leads to his family life and his sanity spiraling out of control. 101 pages - pdf, format Naughty Claus by Renee Joynson (bflywings) - Comedy - When a stuck up business woman buys a stolen phone she is thrust into the life of an angel where controlling her new life will be harder than it seems in her pursuit to earn a set of angel wings. 93 pages - pdf, format Dead Ringer by P. Cook (angry bear) - Thriller/Horror - An up-and-coming actor becomes romantically involved with a mysterious woman, but when he discovers that he looks exactly like her deceased boyfriend and that she's emotionally unstable, he struggles to break away from her. - pdf, format Reset to Default by Eric Wall - Drama - After fourteen years in prison, Daniel Toth is being given a second chance. A chance to reconnect with his family, and rebuild his life. But when a gift for his son results in unintended consquences, the demons of his past begin to catch up. - pdf, format |

You know what? Since I find it incredibly challenging to write when the sun's out, I'm gonna get a jump on these. Can't wait. =)
EDIT: No offense to anyone, but I'm going to go in order of logline appeal as opposed to my usual order of upload. Congratulations to everyone who completed one. =) |

Thank you Don.
Though the title is wrong again - Naughty Claus. Sorry to be a pain in the butt, but 'The' puts a different vibe on it. |

Fixed.
Thanks Don! Mine is a thriller/horror though and probably not for sensitive people... |

Congrats to everyone who completed a script for this challenge. I know from experience it's no easy feat to write and conceive a feature on a subject and theme that came from someone else in only 7 weeks.
I'm probably not going to be reading these, as I wasn't involved in the challenge, but I'm sure hoping that Phil is going to read each and every one, since it was his challenge. That's the least he can do to help you all out.
Good job everyone! |

Jeff - I dare you to open mine and spit on the first page, lol. Kidding. No, please don't. Just thought I'd let everyone know that I'm reading these in no particular order. I've just been picking them at random. So no offense to the writer of the last one that I may read, there is no reason at all for reading yours last. Renee |
