Oh, Pia, thank you for your face! Finally. First of all, you really look good. And then, that Hannibal almost killed me when I first saw him as your avatar. For some reason he;s very appaling to me on that picture.

Come on, time to guess the common saying, or cliche move, we expect from this theme..including mine

You know, the ones that crop up because of the topic. They always do.

Some may rememeber the 'over grown weeds' of the gothic horror topic. Everything was run down.

So, what do we think will happen with apocalypse...

I'm guessing...

1 ] Shades been taken off - for those that are cool

2] Tv's being turned off - life is too important

3] Perhaps - cars being abandoned, people having to run

4] naked girls in hot tubs - that's Jeff's....and mine....with a sci fi twist of course

What do others expect......

Let's have your thoughts SS'ers

My scripts  HERE

The Elevator Most Belonging To Alice - Semi Final Bluecat, Runner Up Nashville
Inner Journey - Page Awards Finalist - Bluecat semi final
Grieving Spell - winner - London Film Awards.  Third - Honolulu
Ultimate Weapon - Fresh Voices - second place

Oopsie, I had to resubmit - fixed quite a few mistakes and redid one word (an important one) in my logline. HOpe you'll see my final version.

Done. Finished. Wrote it and rewrote it. Tweaked it again and again. And again. Spell-checked twice in Final Draft. Pasted it into word and spell checked it again. And again. Still anticipating the "Lots of typos" and "Feels rushed" comments again. I'm really trying to ensure that doesn't happen this time.

Cliche's? Atomic bombs. The Omega Man. The last space ship to leave the planet. The president in an underground bunker.

People killing each other for the last piece of bread?

A man killing his son to save food for his cat! (I must shut up as it might be someone's entry)

(submitted mine, by the way. Sean, thanks for your input - I went with that title, but a little different logline. Done and off to bed )

I can tell you guys the one I didn't submit. Hopefully, you guys didn't do the same idea because then, I'd feel really bad. The one I ended up writing (but didn't submit) was a mini-vignette version of Y2K done in a horror/psychological thriller style. Amazing how people seem to have forgotten about Y2K, considering how big a topic it was at the time. Lol. =)

Well, as I often say to the Mrs. I've submitted.

And yeah my script has cliches - I think the apocalypse has been done so many times by Hollywood it's hard not to include cliches. I think I've put an original spin on mine though....well I think so anyway.

Hmmm...maybe that's why I'm divorced...or was it the hookers, drugs, and gambling?

Nope, mine is nudity free, swear word free, sex free, and violence free.

-One time a fairly prominent producer e-mailed me back.
-I have made more than $1000 with my writing!
-I've won 2 mugs... and a thong.  (polaroids of me in thong available for $10 through PM)

@vc_wg - because I crave attention
