I have filmed things before. I've also learned the hard way that unless you pay people pretty good, it would be hard to get cast and crew to show up in the wee hours of the morning, several nights in a row to work on a short...
My town isn't that big either, so cast, crew and locations aren't that easy to come by. I'll get something filmed before the end of the year though.
What city are you in? Perhaps I can recommend something. I'm in NYS.
I'm interested in reading animation, horror, sci fy, suspense, fantasy, and anything that is good. I enjoy writing the same. Looking to team with anyone!
If I have Jeff pinned correctly, he's making a move for the mug this time.
I appreciate that Johnny, but no...there will be no crappy mug or panties for this kid, this go'round. Peeps didn't like mine...I know...shocking...Ha!
My votes are in, and in case anyone is wondering, although my good buddy, Stevie, promised me an all expense paid week in AussieLand, I still couldn't throw him and his Bunny Man a vote. And, if I didn't read the entire script, you can bet it didn't get a vote, either.
If anyone would like another look at their script, just send me a bottle of Jagie and I'm all over it.
Good point. My buddy just finished up a shoot on set in a fake jail cell. Im sure there's an elevator out there in the land of make believe, but I guess it also depends on where you're at too. I would just change the location, see if it works.
Yeah, as I've learned, all of the big sets are mostly filmed inside large warehouses. So everything is under control from lighting to sound.
An elevator would need to be built from MDF or similar and decorated/painted, maybe add some accessories... possible to do it in your living room, then remove the sides of the elevator not in shot so the film crew can get in.
Will the script submission be back open soon? It was supposed to be back open on May 25th but I assume it has been delayed because of the OWC and voting ect.?
Mo - is usually a bet for a sci fi script, and there was one, but I didn't feel his mark in it. Time will tell.
Not sci-fi this time, brother. In fact, it's been years since I wrote a sci-fi script. The writing is pretty much the same as all my previous scripts for this entry, so I'm a little surprised nobody's outed me yet. I think I've sneaked by this time.

I think Mo wrote Lift to the Stars.
I can't even find that script , but no, no lifts or stars. You did finish it though, Jeff.
No chance. I think a man wrote it. The dialogue of Jerome just screams male and class. Reminded me actually a bit of that bartender Lloyd from The Shining.
