Jeff, out of interest I tried to look up The Ballad of Pun Li .
No luck.

Sure sounds like a classic.

Oof, I'm only just learning about this now. I've been out of the loop for a while, but didn't expect another OWC so soon after the last one (that I also missed completely).

Hmm. I owe four shorts for production that I'm a bit stuck on. Maybe a couple of days coming up with something for this is the change of pace I need. I'll put my thinking cap on and see if anything bubbles up from the depths of my tired mind.

I’m late to the party, again, but I’ll put something together for Friday. Glad to have something I can do other than level up on COD.

If at first you don't succeed........bribe someone.

It was the 2019 writer's challenge.  I think maybe I put the wrong title on it...You Never Know What You'll Get.  No clue where that title even came from.  The airline one was Paradise Airlines.

Funny thing is...I reread Pun Li.  I'm going to make the necessary changes, fix the glaring mistakes, and I actually think it will make sense and be quite funny, but most found it horribly sexist, racist, and some other things.

I'm an idiot...

I had another writer/director read it and he got it no problem.

However, I have written another draft to make it clearer as I know some people try to speed read every entry in an hour.

Mine will be the one with the massive electronic post-it notes that says, "SHE'S REALLY A ROBOT!"

Not really and no robots in my screenplay. Or is there??

^ Aha! See, Mark? The varying reviews and opinions on the same material often surprises me.

Great to see Owen and Rene joining the throng too.
Throng?
Well, here's hoping for a small crowd anyway.
Looking forward to the reads.

Still two and a half days...

Weirdly, I came up with something within an hour. I just need to nail the ending.

Well I didn't sit down to write and now it's too late. Good luck to everyone participating. I'll read a few.

Looks like I'm not going to make it...again.

Nothing written so far, no ideas, and grand kids coming over early tomorrow.

I'm quite new to SimplyScripts and I've only just come across this challenge - it sounds SO MUCH FUN! I won't enter this one, because I think I've left it too late this time around, but next one I'm definitely doing!

Christ - one idea, one ugly draft

I’ll be roasted over this one, like never before.

Christ it’s got to improve for me to enter, but I have a day left
