Hmm... based on the clues, I’d say a gritty pulp fiction thingy in the works?  if not, I’m lost... as usual, lol.

Pulpy fiction, Rick? Well, that all depends... Here's another clue:

Don't talk to me like that.
Kidding.

MacGuffins would be optional.

They're auteurs, they all favour heavy dialogue, lots of stuff with two people...

Yup, it's a one-location, two character challenge.

Quoted from stevie
Synopsis of ajr’s upcoming script for this:

Raymond Chandler must solve the puzzle of Woody Allen being found in a sewer with a bird feeder shoehorned onto his face

Quoted from LC
Next clue:

Quentin Jerome Tarantino.

So the story of this puzzle will be told in a nonlinear fashion leaving it to the audience to figure out what order things happened.

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

I suck at dialog. Ugh. The new Charlie Kaufman film, "I'm Thinking of Ending Things" is a good example of 2 peeps, one location, heavy dialog. They spend a lot of time in a car.

Same. I'd be all over it. That's what most of my old shorts used to be, anyway. Lol.

Don't they all also film what they write... maybe we have to write THEN film it!

Oh God. If we have to film it I'm out. Lol. Especially during stupid COVID.

If the expectation is that we’re going to act out what we wrote, maybe with another person, that’s harder than it sounds. I’m pretty sure the pitch video I sent to Impact X Netflix for Who Wants to Be a Princess? was about the sixtieth take. (And it was still terrible)

I can totally film myself sitting on my couch and talking nonsense. In fact that's what I'm doing right now.
