Good OWC challenge Don! Sounds fun! Hopefully I will be able to put story in the pot. Thank you for these little challenges. Gives me motivation to write something.

I wonder if Dracula going through sex change operation is horrific enough?
Hmm.

I guess that depends on who is doing the surgery

Lol. If someone is terrorized it's a horror then. I'm writing it! And yes, Dave, set in Transexvalniya - everything fits.

Just started to think about this and every idea I have is comedy. These characters and the old films are such rich territory for spoof. Eg the second step daughter of frankienstein

Anyway, I'll put the horror cap back on

My scripts  HERE

The Elevator Most Belonging To Alice - Semi Final Bluecat, Runner Up Nashville
Inner Journey - Page Awards Finalist - Bluecat semi final
Grieving Spell - winner - London Film Awards.  Third - Honolulu
Ultimate Weapon - Fresh Voices - second place

So I haven't used the forums in a while but I'm currently writing a horror script, my first! Hopefully I can make The Wolfman terrifying.

Got some inspiration. Hopefully I can make it work. Good luck to all. I'll submit nearer the deadline. I'll get to the feature reads before too, or at least try to get two done.

Hummm....my inner monster is not being very helpful.

Mind you I enjoyed the research and posters of the old 'pre code' horror films.

Modern twist...if only it were a dance

I don't even know what a modern twist is so I probably didn't follow the criteria but ah well haha.

I took that as 'plays in modern times'

Me too. One of my favourite methods is to take old stories and modernise them, so this should be right up my street.

Don't get too hung up in that.  Just trying to emphasize that the script should take place in present day. Not a period piece.

Hmm... I'd not read it that way, my period piece may now need some major work ;-(

Got it....care of...

"In Your Room"

In your room
Where time stands still
Or moves at your will
Will you let the morning come soon
Or will you leave me lying here
In your favourite darkness
Your favourite half-light
Your favourite consciousness
Your favourite slave

In your room
Where souls disappear
Only you exist here
Will you lead me to your armchair
Or leave me lying here
Your favourite innocence
Your favourite prize
Your favourite smile
Your favourite slave

I'm hanging on your words
Living on your breath
Feeling with your skin
Will I always be here

In your room
Your burning eyes
Cause flames to arise
Will you let the fire die down soon
Or will I always be here
Your favourite passion
Your favourite game
Your favourite mirror
Your favourite slave

I'm hanging on your words
Living on your breath
Feeling with your skin
Will I always be here

Songs can inspire

Now I need to write it....

Limitations: Low budget. Present Day. One good makeup effect.
