I've decided I'm out as I'd rather spend my time doing something else. I'll still be pitching in with feedback tho.
Out altogether? Or just the first 10?

Out for the whole thing. I've decided that I can't be arsed with it.

Nah, I couldn't be bothered. I'd rather watch some wrestling and chill. Y'all know me; I'll still be giving feedback and all the rest of that jazz.

My first uh... 13 are submitted. Been on vacation without internet so, while I've been writing, I couldn't even format it until I had a connection (at a public library now). You can all read as little or as much as you want and after the 2nd I should be plugged back in and ready give some feedback for those who desire it.
Good luck to everyone who's still in, and to anyone who wants to jump in late. I once did one of these in nine days, though it was pretty awful

Before I submit, are the first 10 supposed to be anonymous?

Cool. Don't really see a point in it being anonymous..

Depends if you think people are out to get you...
There's probably some who criticize on the sly because they don't like you personally.

I like the anonymous aspect to the OWC. It stops all the nicey-nicey stuff. If you've got a good story, you know it. We can't all hit it every time, or even try that hard every time, so should expect to take the knocks that come. Anyway, this is different. This is all about positivity and getting people to complete a feature no matter what. Max, really disappointed to see you go down without a fight. To write a feature though you really need to believe in your idea. Believe it's something other people will want to see.

Oops. Mine definitely won't be anonymous. Lord knows I've been ripped apart when I have submitted work without it being anonymous in the past, so I cannot imagine that being a problem here!
That being said, if Pia/Don would rather I re-uploaded an anonymous version, I will happily do so.

Very sad to see Max drop out like that before the first 10 are even submitted. As I said earlier, IMO, one shouldn't even have anything written in a week's time when planning/plotting a feature, but to each their own. Max, if I were you, I'd rethink being out, as you have 6 weeks to go, bro, which is more than enough time to complete this.

Submitted. I'm going to try and read them all, but I'm moving house this coming week, and have to go in a hotel in-between - don't know how long that'll be for, but I'll get access some how, and I'll get through them. Positive, constructive feedback too

It's entirely up to each writer. Like Dustin said, it's all about cheering each other on and try to get to the end and write FADE OUT:
As far as being harsh because someone doesn't like someone goes, I think we're more adult than that. It's true that some people have a tougher reviewing style, but I doubt that has anything to do with feelings for the writer.
