Dark comedy, or horror-comedy, or satire.

I'm just finishing up my final year of college and really have an itch to write something now.

A 6 pager for forum regulars sounds good. Comedy would be a challenge too.

The flaws in this line of thinking are that

• - all film is subjective what is 'bad' to one is a gem to another;
  
• - we don't know how good (or bad) the original script was that was sold and pitched
  
• - during the course of development, one too many cooks fought over the kitchen (so to speak)
  
• - professionals may not like what they are paid to write, but they write it to get paid.
  
• It was a great script, it had great talent to make it, but it became a dirty bastard when it came out of the editing room
  

The issue of IPs also came up.
But it got me thinking...

How 'bout something that is in public domain?
