About seven years ago, when I was nineteen, I acted in a zombie movie called ZOMBIES ATE MY SHOES.  The entire feature-length story was filmed, but -- for various reasons -- it was never edited properly.  The director did eventually edit a six minute musical montage with some of the footage from when we shot the movie.  You can watch that montage at the following link:

I'm the guy in the dark short-sleeved shirt with a white long-sleeve shirt underneath.  My death scene is at 4:50

I think the cute chick in pink would make a good Banana Chan!

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

Now she'd be too old to play that character ... but no.  She looks too cheerleader.  Banana's not like that.

I was actually wondering if you based Banana on her when I watched it.

Nope.  The girl in the video has nothing in common with Banana.  The girl in the video is outgoing, whereas Banana is shy.

That comparison is superficial, and wrong on more levels than I can count.

Probably the short blond hair gave me that idea since I remember seeing Banana drawings that were similar, but I guess your right character wise they don't seem the same.

That looks really cool! And the music you had playing over it made it look creepy also. How long did it take to film?

Well, that's five minutes and forty-nine seconds I will never get back.

Don't take this personally, Alan (or anyone else that posts on youtube), but I hate youtube.  This site, and sites like it keep mediocrity alive.  People have a free venue to post their crap.  If the sites charged five dollars (hell, even a dollar) for each film posted, the quality would greatly improve as the filmmakers wouldn't upload every piece of celluloid shit that is cranked from their cameras.

The original idea that filmmakers would have a place to show off their work has backfired in a terrible way.

A lot longer than it should have taken.  Many weekends and early mornings.  A couple of late nights.  Unexpected problems arose at every step.  And then, when we finally had everything filmed, more unexpected problems arose which made a full edit impossible.  I skipped my sister Diane's high school graduation on a day when a lot of this content was filmed, because of a very tight schedule combined with the fact that completed scenes showed promise.  But I've never seen those completed scenes again.  This montage is all that is left.  I love the montage, but because the entire movie was never edited, it was not worth skipping my sister's graduation for.

Have you been to http://www.atomfilms.com that's a little more serious. They even pay the filmmakers if they have a lot of views. It's a great website to watch short films.

This zombie short may not be perfect, but it looked to me that they did put some effort into the production. It's also a few years old.

Seven years old.  And some of the scenes that were filmed have no representation in this montage.
