It has been awful quiet recently. I'm back properly now my uni year is over, but I do agree - the place has been pretty deserted.
I do have another idea for a challenge-type thing, if anyone's interested? The last one didn't go too badly...it's collaborative, too. Many people involved. Anyone want to hear more, let me know.

The 7WC went great. I thought all the scripts were really nice efforts for being written in such a short time. I never read Sandra's, but I read Thief instead since that one needed more reads.
What do you have in mind for a challenge? I personally prefer to write on my own rather than collabs as I find them very hard to do. What do you other people think?
Or another Script Club maybe, or did that peter out last time?
OWC! Been researching Hard Boiled detective stories to rewrite Hard Boiled Christmas from the 7WC last year. Ordered a used book from Amazon on the topic. Came from the Library in Beverly Hills. Figure that's a good omen.
I'll be skins, too, since I lost a few pounds. Don't work and play well with others, so not real big on the collaborative thing.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently - Dove Chocolate Wrapper
That's cool. I know some people last time (Stevie in particular) were asking about a colab project, but if there's no real support for it then we can do something else.
An OWC would be good. Don't know if I'd take part, because I have a list of scripts I finally want to get around to writing, but anything to get a few more people knocking around. It can get a bit lonely at times...
I actually wouldn't mind partaking in a Script Club exercise. I have plenty of overhyped, produced scripts I've read (and ones heading towards production) ::coughthecabininthewoodscough:: that I'd love to generate discussion on.
