Hi guys Question: if you only had one day to spend in LA, what would you do?

I'm coming back home to the States for New Year's and I've got a crazy layover in LA on the return, so I'm thinking of making a mini-trip of it. Suggestions?

Ideally, I'd like to get something out of it for my screenwriting if possible. Still, I've never been outside the airport in LA, so any suggestions would certainly go a long way

Thanks y'all!!

Well, I dunno about screenwriting but Disneyland honestly has the best burgers I've ever eaten. Sounds ridiculous, but they were amazing. Really I don't know how they do it.

I can't live the buttoned-down life like you. I want it all. The dizzying highs, the terrifying lows, the creamy middles. Sure, I may offend some of the blue bloods with my cocky stride and musky odors. Oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called "city fathers," who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards and talk about what's to be done with this Homer Simpson?

Mouse meat.

LA for a day. Hmm.  There's tons of sightseeing to do in LA.  But for screenwriting you would have to do some research.   I'm sure there's plenty of classes, maybe even a pitch-fest.  The webs the limit.

Here's a 'perfect' list of things to do in LA:

Work in Melbourne, live in eastern suburbs. It seems Australia's got a pretty solid presence in the boards

Thanks for that, Eoin! That's a great list. I was thinking about the Writers Store so at least I'm on the right track
