Let me be the first to wish Jeff (Dreamscale) a happy birthday.
Although all may not agree with him or like the way he scrutinizes some scripts(I for one do because it teaches me something new when reading his reviews) but lets all be honest and say whether your a friend or enemy(I'm sure you have a few, Jeff)
SS is a greater place for having him around and he contributes more than most.
Have a great birthday, mate. Have a few beers or whatever your poison and watch "The Oregonian"

Happy Birthday Jeff. We're all 18 in my book. . lol.

Don't know if you're having a good day or a bad one... But I have to go fucking see 'The Lucky One' tonight, so no matter what happens, even if you do watch 'The Oregonian', find comfort knowing that your day will not be half as bad as mine. :-)
Thanks everyone. I honestly appreciate all your well wishes.
I don't feel any older today...in fact, I feel much younger and better than I have in years - probably because I got fantastic news on Friday and finalized things this morning.
I received an amazing job offer, worked out details this morning, and accepted. I'll be moving back to The Valley of the Sun this month. Actually leaving Wednesday on a house hunting trip. On the 17th, I've got my annual Vegas Long Weekend Blowout with college buddies. The final move will occur over the weekend of the 25th, and I'll start my new job June 4th.
It's a great opportunity in which I'll be heading up the Underwriting for a small MGU located outside Sacramento, CA. I'll set up a home based office in my new Scottsdale, AZ home, and things will be looking up on a daily basis.
It's been a long hard road I've traveled the last few years, but it appears God hasn't forsaken me after all and this is my chance at a whole new existence.
Maybe I'll even be a kinder, gentler Dreamscale? Who knows? We'll see.

Thanks Catherine. As I said earlier, and I honestly mean it, hearing Birthday wishes are so appreciated, especially when they're coming from around the world.
It's really amazing what good news can do for the psyche. I've been so down and out for so long, and all of a sudden, I'm reconnecting with peeps I haven't talked to in years (outside SS), and I realize what an A-Hole I've been for too long.
I'll try to remain as mean as I can on SS, though...don't worry!
Seriously though Jeff. It's important to go through the valley with friends, cause when you peak, you get to look around to see who it was that was there with you below.
Those are the ones you stick with. I cannot wait to visit you in AZ.
Led, you have nothing to worry about, bro. You can't get rid of me that easy. Let me get BushWorld 3.5 up and running, and you've got an open invite. It should be a pretty nice place, as 2 of my demands are a nice pool and a hot tub that flows into it. Not sure I can afford my old cave/grottowaterfall from Bushworld 2.0, but I'm starting over...at 67 years of age. Those were the days...

Yes, and this time, I won't be holed up in some Hell Hole apartment in Bum Fuck Egypt.
Also, I'll be very close to L.A. and Hollywood!!!!!! So, when my phone rings, I'll tell whoever it is that needs to see me on my script they want to turn into a $35 Million wide screen release, "I'll be right over".
